New committee members will be asked to make a three year commitment that begins in May and may choose to stay on for a second three year term. There will be co- chairs of the committee, chosen from members who have participated for at least a year. Committee members will be asked to attend 4 meetings a year. They will be asked to commit to one or more sub-committees and be active throughout the year with various tasks. Each member will also create a curriculum page for one of the 10 nominee books.

Communication: Given the geographical distance between us we rely greatly on e-mail. It is important that members have access to a computer and both use and respond to e-mail communications in a timely fashion. This enables us to communicate and work effectively. Meeting dates will be in: May, September, November and January.
